Practical Nursing (PN)
The Practical Nursing Programme at Acme College of Nursing Sciences is designed to equip students with the foundational knowledge, clinical skills, and professional values required to deliver safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care.
The programme is structured to provide accessible entry into the nursing profession and does not require extensive prior knowledge of advanced sciences. Its curriculum emphasizes professional ethics, patient care, communication skills, anatomy and physiology, basic medical sciences, and evidence-based nursing practice.
Throughout the programme, students receive a balanced combination of classroom instruction, simulation-based learning, and supervised clinical experience. This comprehensive approach prepares graduates to provide quality nursing care to individuals, families, and communities across a variety of healthcare settings.
Graduates are equipped to work collaboratively with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals within the scope of practice defined by applicable regulatory authorities. Those interested in pursuing opportunities abroad may be eligible to do so, subject to the licensing, registration, and regulatory requirements of the destination country.

Health Care Assistant
The Health Care Assistant (HCA) is a six-month certificate program designed to equip learners with the practical knowledge and hands-on skills required to provide high-quality personal care to older adults, individuals with disabilities, and those who are ill. Graduates are prepared to support clients in a variety of care settings, including private residences, assisted living facilities, and independent living communities.
Admission to the HCA program does not require prior knowledge of the sciences. The program is open to individuals who possess effective communication skills, a compassionate approach to caregiving, and a commitment to delivering safe, ethical, and person-centred care within the established scope of practice.
At ACME, Health Care Assistant (HCA) students receive comprehensive training through a blend of classroom instruction and hands-on practical experience. Learning takes place in ACME’s state-of-the-art nursing laboratories, complemented by coursework, supervised clinical instruction, and practical placements in senior care homes, disability care facilities, and other healthcare institutions.

The broad range of practice settings contributes to the strong and growing demand for qualified HCAs
PROFESSIONAL GROWTH: Health Care Assistants (HCAs) can advance their nursing careers by pursuing a Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Diploma. At ACME, graduates of the HCA program have the opportunity to progress into the Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma through the Access to Advanced Nursing Program, providing a seamless pathway to higher-level nursing education and expanded career opportunities
